you know what happens when your boss decides it’s a good idea for you to send an email blast to over 800 email addresses? not only do you have to sit through the torture of correcting every ,com and cim and bet and every unnecessary space, but you also get every out of office notice and failed delivery message for all the email addresses that either do not exist or were spelled incorrectly. do you even know?

I do the exact same thing when swamped at work! My cubemate asked me today if I was eating something with peanut butter in it. Nope, just me and the spoon and the jar.

The town I grew up in is small and it certainly can be very boring. Shopping and sushi are 40 minutes away. There aren’t many activities for young people that aren’t sports or the high school drama club. There is no skate park, no music venue, no pizza joint, and not even one single traffic light.
But now I’ve learned that the above doesn’t make a town. The people that live there do. As simple and cliche as this idea is, it took me a long time to understand that my town is filled with inspiring, hard working, kind, talented, and warm people. I don’t know if there is a place I’d rather call home. I used to think that my town was apathetic and that is why I wanted out. I now realize I couldn’t have been more wrong.
I’m looking going back on Friday and the tears are going to flow when I arrive and feel the Candor spirit in the air.
Stick a fork in me. I saw this picture and today I’m done with NYC. As soon as I find a way to pay for it I’ll see you all in the country where I’ll be making wool, cheese, and rhubarb pie.
Three more days and I’ll be swimming in this. I am so ready for an Upstate staycation with my parents.
Thank god. I’m out of the woods. Being a girl can produce a lot of anxiety once a month.
